What is your experience?
Our staff is well trained and educated in filming, photography and editing. We are always reading up on new products, techniques and trends. What originally started out as a hobby years ago turned into a profession in 2005. Hopscotch Wedding Media and its staff strive to deliver the highest quality product for an affordable price.
What are your rates and what do they include?
Our rates are competitive and can be found on our website in detail. Visit the photography, videography and live broadcasting pages.
How much is the deposit?
Our deposit policy is 35% upon booking the date. This deposit is non-refundable after 2 months prior to the wedding. This can be paid by cash or cheque.
When is the rest of the payment due?
The balance of payment is due on or before the wedding day. This can be paid by cash or cheque.
Do your prices include GST?
Unfortunately no, 5% GST has to be added to the website prices but only for Canadian residents.
How long after the wedding will it take to get our photos/video?
Our turn around time depends on how busy we are. Generally you will receive your product within 2-3 weeks after the wedding.
Can we have a meeting?
If, after you read through the website and find you still have additional questions, you can call us at 604-841-2275 or email info@hopscotchweddings.com. We don’t mind meeting but it saves us both time if we can answer any questions over the internet or phone.
Do you require a meal at the reception?
If we are covering your wedding for more than 5 hours, we do require a meal at the reception. We do not have to be seated with your guests, any location will do.
How many different locations do we get on the wedding day?
Depending on the package, but generally you get 2 or 3 locations. Additional locations can be booked for an additional fee.
Do you shoot in color or black and white?
We shoot in digital so our files can be converted to color, black&white or sepia
Does our package come with an album?
Some of our packages do. If it doesn’t, you can order one for as little as $125.00
How much are additional copies of the DVD?
Additional copies of your DVD are $25.00-45 depending on the case. You can order mini-DVD's for guests for $10.00 each
Do you offer a referral fee?
Yes, if you refer a client to us that books their wedding, you will get between 5-10% of the package fee.
Do you use props and lights
NO. Our goal is to stay in the background. We don't want your guests to be distracted by our cameras and moving around.
How long do you keep our video/photos on file
We keep your raw data on file for 6 months after your wedding day. If you'd like to buy the raw data (full size images and original tapes) please feel free to contact us.

Can we see a demo video
YES. If we can't meet for a consultation, we can mail you a demo DVD.
